Sample Gas Cooler

The sample gas conditioning system is intended to condition and treat the gas sample until it reaches the gas analyzer.

 

As the NDIR gas analyzers need a completely dry gas sample for the measurement procedure, it is recommended to have a Gas Conditioning System eqquiped with a Gas Cooler, at the beginning, in order to eliminate any condensate traces in the gas sample.

 

The Sample Gas Cooler can be rack-mounted or wall-bracketed, be equipped with a Peltier unit or with a compressor.

 

The set-point, 3ºC (manufacturer default setpoint), can be easily adjusted.

 

The heat exchangers can be in glass, PVDF or stainless steel according to the sample characteristics.

 

Resistant to the presence of corrosive elements it is suitable for all industrial applications (there are ATEX and CSA certified versions) and includes a peristaltic pump to remove the condensates generated.

 

The Sample Gas Cooler usually integrates the sampling conditioning system and is provided in a Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS) or in a process analysis integrated solution.
