Extractive Beta Gauge Particulate Monitor

The Extractive Beta Gauge Particulate Monitor is usually applied in monitoring the dust content for wet gases (emissions in which the temperature is under the dew point) or in emissions from Blast Furnace Gas.

 

Ideal for the analysis of inaccessible emissions locations and very low dust concentration levels, the Extractive Beta Gauge Particulate Monitor is usually available in a Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems and in a Process Analysis integrated solution.

 

 

MEASURING PRINCIPLE:

 

Determination of the dust concentration by measuring the absorption of beta rays emitted by a radioactive emitter by particles collected from an exhaust gas flow.

• Pre-calibrated unaffected by particle size, colour or moisture;
• Sample gas flow regulated at 1 - 3 m3/h;
• Isokinetic sampling;
• Optional dilution sample probe for high concentrations or after wet scrubbers;
