The Venturi type Differential Pressure Flowmeter also known as Venturi tube is characterized by the lowest load loss of all types of Differential pressure flowmeters. It can be installed horizontally or vertically in almost all large flow rates pipelines with minimal load loss.

 

Virtually needing no maintenance and resistant to corrosion it is an ideal solution for corrosive processes and wastewater applications. It is available in any diameter sizes from 50 to 60 mm (DN50 to DN600) enabling type DIN or ANSI flange arrangement.

 

MEASURING PRINCIPLE:

 

• Flow measurement using the Bernoulli principle by which it is possible to determine the speed of the fluid or gas passing through the detection of the difference between the pressure measured upstream and downstream of a primary element.
