IME SA provides a wide range of equipment and devices for classified zones, since the small micro-chip up to the big control panels, being specialized in electric tracing solutions and water leakage detection systems.

 

All the equipment for classified zones has ATEX certification emitted by official labs such as: PTB, INIEX, BASEEFA, LCIE or LOM.

 

The cable entries are elements which allow electrical cables to be introduced into an enclosure/box, without danger of explosion. Therefore, an ATEX cable housing is not required for electrical connection protection because it is possible to make the connections outside the Ex Zone.

 

We provide several types of cable entries, particularly for a wide range of applications, namely:

• Pressure and vacuum sealed cable entries.
• We also provide a wide range of Line Bushings for explosive atmosphere zones, essential elements to establish a connection between a box and a terminal connection in explosive zones.
