 MEASURING PRINCIPLE:

 

Absorption of beta rays (electrons) irradiated by a radioactive emitter.

 

FEATURES:

 

• C-14 method, no measurable decrease in activity;
• Lowest radioactivity of all beta gauges, usable without licence or disclosure;
• Automatic zero correction;
• Pre-calibrated, no site specific calibration required;
• Mass flow controlled sample flow of 1 m3/h;
• Extraction of a constant sample-flow, irrespective of the ambient air;
• Repeated collection on the same spot. Collected particles available for heavy metal analysis
