Ambient Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Analyzer

The Ambient Carbon Dioxide analyzer uses non-dispersive infrared absorption (NDIR) to continuously measure the carbon dioxide concentrations.

 

The CO2 analyzer is usually integrated in IME SA’s fixed and mobile monitoring stations offering a complete solution for Air Quality monitoring and analysis.

 

MEASURING PRINCIPLE:

 

Non-dispersive Infrared (NDIR) Absorption Method.

 

FEATURES:

 

The warm-up time required for the NDIR analysis module to reach full stability and performance has been substantially reduced to about 10 minutes (conventional NDIR analyzers need an hour or larger);

Compact and light weight modules – Due to the development of high precision infrared sensors and the small size this equipment can be installed in a single 19” rack mount case without sacrificing performance;

Virtually immune to vibration – The NDIR modules is not affected by external vibration because there are no moving parts in the detector. This allows stable and reliable measurements in a wide variety of locations and environments as well as mobile applications;

Reliable noise free chopper – The axis-less chopper motor has a stable rotation that ensures that infrared energy passes through the measurement and reference cells precisely all the time. The chopper motor design virtually eliminates noise and extends the lifetime of the module significantly.
